Rothwell and District Live at Home Scheme

Rothwell Live at Home works to reduce isolation and promote independence for anyone 60 and over in the Rothwell area, they provide a variety of activities and support within your community.

Membership of the Live at Home Scheme is free, visit Rothwell and District Live at Home to view the services and activities offered.


Acorn and Oak – This Green Moon, Swillington

Acorn and Oak is a powerful session that brings together young and old. They work with Rothwell and District Live at Home Scheme to bring together the older generation with some of our very own tree nippers and the results are truly phenomenal.

Rothwell Dementia Friendly

A local organisation who arrange regular ‘tea cosy’s’ and other events. An opportunity for those of us affected by dementia to come together but also to keep the conversation open to reduce stigma around the illness. You can go to their Facebook page to find upcoming events.
